Nancy's Home Daycare has served children in the Leaside area for over 15 years. Founded in 2003, it has been devoted to supporting infants and toddlers, as well as helping young families at the early stages of child development. As a supportive and inclusive community, Nancy's Home Daycare ensures that each child develops the confidence and positive learning habits that ensure a happy transition to Junior Kindergarten.

Nancy's approach to early childhood education involves the introduction of a daily schedule and routine that allows young children to thrive in more structured environment. A proponent of play-based learning, Nancy's Home Daycare utilizes song, movement, hands-on learning, and fine-motor skill practice to create a happy and caring community environment. Some of the activities that children participate in on a regular basis include: circle time, song and dance, story time, early numeracy and literacy activities such as counting with manipulatives, and many more!

Nancy's Day Care has a maximum child to trained adult ratio of 1 to 4. If the situation arises when an early infant requires care then additional support will be added to ensure that all children receive the same kind of specialized care that has made Nancy's Home Daycare so successful.

As well, Nancy provides breakfast, morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack as part of the tuition. All meals are homemade. Please speak to Nancy directly to inquire about specific dietary needs.
